  mid-line of lake....
  Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...
  New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

At 1105 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Burns
Harbor to near Valparaiso, moving northeast at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the nearshore waters of
southeastern Lake Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected by later this afternoon. A
few storms may become strong to severe this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible each day through the middle of
next week. However, severe weather is not anticipated at this time.
